Paris Airshow 22-06-2013
Posté : Mar 10 Déc 2013 22:19
Saturday the 22nd of June 2013 I went to the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget.
The reason I wanted to go there was the presence of some very nice Russian aircraft that I hoped would all fly that day.
I left at 04:00 in the morning, and at 09:00 I arrived in the parking lot at the airport.
I stayed here all day because I found a nice spot at the front of the runway and close to the taxitrack that was in use.
It was a cloudy day with an occasional rain shower, but this was no obstacle for shooting some nice pictures.
Around 12:30 the show started with a nice alternation between military, civilian and vintage aircraft.
The best shows for me were the Rafale Solo Display (twice this day) and the aircraft which I actually came for: the Sukhoi SU-35. Was a great plane that is! It’s incredible how maneuverable this aircraft is and what a terrible noise this aircraft produces.
All Russian aircraft performed a demo this day.
All demos were carried out in front of me, and a portion above my head so I was able to make some excellent pictures.
At 17:30 showtime was unfortunately over, and I went back home.
After a long day I could look back with a good feeling on a gorgeous airshow that I did not want to miss.
