However, every year on an airfield nearby is the Sanicole airshow, which is privately funded, but always has a strong military presence.
The show consists of a sunset show on Friday, and an airshow on Sunday.
The Saturday in between is used for rehearsals and arrivals from aircraft who only fly displays on Sunday.
Because Sanicole has not suitable runway for jet-powered aircraft, Kleine Brogel Airbase is used for heavier and jet aircraft.
